The cost will be £20 per person which includes your meal and the evening entertainment. This year we are honoured to have Alan Tait as our guest speaker. He also does “on course” commentary at The Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open and, The Open Championship, also with the BBC.

In 1994 Alan was the first ever player to shoot 64 at the famous Carnoustie Championship Course – regarded as one of the toughest in the world. This is still a joint course record to date.

As an amateur Alan won the Scottish Boys at Dunbar in 1986 and went on to win the Doug Sanders European and World Junior titles in the same year. He then became only the 5th person in Scottish golf history to be capped at boys, youths and senior level in the same season. In 1989 he lost in the final of the Scottish Amateur Championship at Lossiemouth at the 36th hole.

It promises to be a fantastic evening. As there is limited seating, please add your name to the list on the noticeboard as soon as possible. If you can’t make it up to the club, reply to this post or call the club to arrange for your name to be added.
