Volunteers Required for the Harrison Open

The golf club committee is seeking volunteers from the membership to assist in the running of The Harrison Open that takes place on the 15th August. The Open is the pinnacle of the golfing calendar and requires a substantial amount of work to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day. If you would like to help and can give up just an hour of your time, please respond to this post or speak to one of the council members.

Autumn Outing

The Autumn outing will take place on Sunday 20th September at Alloa Golf Club. There is a change in the format as we’ve reduced the outing from the usual 36 holes to a 18 hole Stableford competition. There are 20 spaces for the outing with the first tee time at 10:30. More information will be published nearer to the time, but put this date in your diary.

Gullane Outing Results

Our annual visit to Gullane for the Spring outing was played in bright but chilly conditions courtesy of a strong northerly breeze. Although, the greens weren’t as quick as usual, the course was in excellent condition and a good day was had by all. Congratulations to outing specialist Neil Gordon who won the morning stableford with a splendid 39 points.
